MARCH FEELS LIFE ART PRIZE MONTH. Australia's 2011 Clancy Prize for high school religious art will be announced on March 25 (See 2010 winner above). Finalists for Canada's Grange Prize for photography were announced this past week. The most fascinating news of all however was the 2011 winner of the TEDPrize. It went to Parisian visual artist: JR Smith. He will use his $100,000 in prize money to create a large-scale world-wide participatory art project that co-creates black and white poster-portraits revealing and sharing untold stories of people around the world.
