IRAQ - AlAbbas Holy Shrine participated for the 2nd year respectively via Agriculture Division in the Department of service Affairs in the International Flower Festival III, held by the secretariat of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad on the gardens of (Zawra Park), lasted for a week. Agronomist Sarmad Naji Abboud spoke to Alkafeel website, saying, "More than 90% of the flowers and seedlings were to participate in the festival produced by the nursery of the Holy Shrine, and the rest are seedlings imported by the Holy Shrine from Thailand for use in afforestation project in the center of the holy city of Karbala, implemented by the Divisions of Agriculture in the two Holy Shrines reaching the 2nd phase." Eng Sarmad Explained "Among the most prominent flowers we showed were Phlox, deltoid flowers and many other plants and flowers, in addition to many dozens of flowers and shrubs." [link]
